Pragmatic Play (developed by Reel Kingdom), released 23 June 2022. The sequel to Big Bass Bonanza keeps the fisherman-collects-the-fish idea and adds random modifiers before free spins start. It’s one of the most-played slots in the series.

Our take
- Best for: players who liked Big Bass Bonanza and want a bigger bonus round with more ways for it to go right.
- Think twice if: you want steady small wins. Most of the value sits in the free spins, so the base game can go quiet for a long time.

How Big Bass Splash plays
- 10 fixed paylines on a 5×3 grid
- Fish symbols carry cash values; in free spins, each fisherman wild collects every fish value on screen
- Three, four or five scatters award 10, 15 or 20 free spins
- Before free spins start, the game can add up to five random modifiers, such as more fishermen or extra spins
- Every fourth fisherman collected retriggers the round and raises the multiplier: 2x, then 3x, then 10x
RTP: check the version you’re playing
Pragmatic Play publishes three RTP settings for this game: 96.71%, 95.67% and 94.60%. Casinos choose which one to offer, so open the game’s information screen before you play. The 96.71% version returns about 2 cents more per $1 wagered over the long run than the 94.60% one.
Big Bass Splash vs Big Bass Bonanza
Both share the same 96.71% top RTP and the same 5×3, 10-payline layout. Splash has a much higher top win (5,000x against 2,100x) and the random pre-bonus modifiers, which make its free spins swingier. If you want the calmer original, read our Big Bass Bonanza review.
